Commercial & Industrial Heat Pump Installations
The UK Government directives and incentives,
aimed at the
reduction of carbon emissions are now influencing the decisions
of local
government authorities and industry; and Lämpöässä Finland,
are fully
experienced in this specialist area.
The application and harnessing of GSHP energy in most
cases offers
no barriers to its adoption. The initial capital cost,
whilst not
inconsiderate for established buildings, does give
medium to long term
benefits. It is however truly cost effective on new build
projects and offers
boasts attractive 'pay back' projections.
During the past 25 years, Lämpöässä has acquired significant
experience in
the system development, manufacture, and installation of these large scale
heat pump installations up to 500kW, and a selection of these can be seen
under our domestic, commercial
and industrial case study pages.
Heat from the soil, bedrock or water system

1. Soil
Installation depth of the collector circuit pipe is between
1.0 to 1.2m Distance between the pipes is 1.5m.
2. Water system
The installation depth is a minimum of 2 to 3m. Due to the current,
installation in a river is not recommemded. Weights of 4kg must be placed on the pipe
every 2 metres.
3. Bedrock
Diameter 135 to 200 mm. The best and most common way is to drill an
energy bore, 165 mm with a 3 pipe system. The depth of the one bore is 100
to 200m.
